Boston Auto Close Gate with Ezy Check Indicator, White

$79.99 ★★★★★ 513 reviews

Designed for doorways, hallways, and stairways, this hardware installs with pressure tension to secure openings without altering trim or walls. The magnetic latch pulls the door shut automatically from any angle, while a visual indicator confirms proper alignment and tension. We include two extension panels in the box so you can adjust the frame across common room widths.

• Magnetic auto-close hinge. The internal magnetic mechanism pulls the swinging door shut behind you and engages the latch automatically. When you need clear passage for carrying loads, swing the door fully open to engage the stay-open position.
• Ezy check visual guide. A built-in color indicator at the handle shows whether the gate is properly tensioned and latched. This visual cue helps you verify correct mounting during setup and regular daily operation across wide household openings.
• Pressure mount setup. Tension knobs secure the gate firmly between walls or door frames without requiring permanent holes, making it practical for rental properties and temporary placement. It installs quickly in standard passages between 29.5 and 38 inches wide.
• Included extension panels. Two 2.75 inch wide extension panels come in the package to expand the basic gate frame up to 38 inches. For wider hallways, additional extensions can be added to reach spans up to 54.5 inches across.
