Which gate mount do I need at the top of the stairs?
Screw mounted, always. A pressure gate relies on friction, and the top of a staircase is the one place where a slipping gate has the longest fall behind it. Pressure mounts belong in doorways and at the bottom of stairs.
Do your locks and latches fit every cabinet?
Most fit the common cases, and every product page lists what the piece is designed for. Measure the door, the gap and the handle style first; the adhesive versions also want a smooth, clean surface to hold.
At what age should childproofing start?
Before crawling, which tends to arrive earlier than expected. The usual advice is to get down to floor level in each room and fit the hardware before your baby is mobile, not after the first near miss.
Why do some products show no star rating?
A rating appears once shoppers on the retail partner’s site have left enough reviews. New listings and quiet ones simply have not accumulated a public score yet.
